Clipper update--They’ve won three of their last four games, including Sunday night’s 106-91 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. Guard Malik Sealy scored a season-high 30 points against the Spurs. Guard Brent Barry played a season-high 30 minutes against the Spurs, getting 14 points and a season-high seven assists. The Clippers embark on a seven-game, 12-day eastern trip after tonight’s game against the NBA’s worst team.
Grizzlie update--Rookie Shareef Abdur-Rahim, who had 23 points in Sunday’s 106-92 loss to the Seattle SuperSonics, has a team-record 28-game double-figure scoring streak. The Grizzlies have lost 16 of their last 17 games and 31 of their last 36. The Grizzlies are 4-23 since General Manager Stu Jackson took over as coach. Center Bryant “Big Country” Reeves scored 30 points in a 99-92 double overtime loss to the Clippers on Nov. 12 at Vancouver.
