FDA Gives Nod to New Urohealth Product

NEWPORT BEACH — Urohealth Systems Inc. said Thursday that it has received Food and Drug Administration clearance to market its integrated endoscopic video system. The system is a portable unit for both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
The company expects to begin shipments in September.
Urohealth designs, manufactures and markets disease-specific urological, gynecological and general-surgery medical products.
