Splash Picks Lee in Dispersal Draft

The Splash drafted defender Thor Lee, 31, in the Continental Indoor Soccer League’s dispersal draft of San Diego Sockers players Tuesday.

Lee (6-0, 170), chosen eighth, had 30 blocks, five goals and eight assists for the Sockers, who will not compete in the CISL this season. His 30 blocks were third-highest on the Sockers and would have been third-highest for the Splash.

Lee played at Cal Sate Northridge, where he earned All-America and All-West Region honors before being drafted by the Lazers in the Major Indoor Soccer League draft.
