Las Vegas lost to No. 25 Syracuse on Saturday and plays UCLA this Saturday. Not that it should matter, as even a disinterested Rebel team should handle the Anteaters. Las Vegas got deeper last week when 6-foot-10 center Issiah Epps and 6-4 guard Brian Keefe became eligible. Keefe played two seasons for Irvine before transferring in 1996. Kaspars Kambala, a 6-9 center from Latvia, averages 18.9 points to lead the Rebels.
