New Year’s Services in 3 Languages

GARDEN GROVE — A multicultural worship service and New Year’s Eve celebration is planned at the Garden Grove United Methodist Church.
Drawing together English, Samoan and Korean-speaking worshipers, the church’s New Year’s Eve Watch will begin with dessert at 10 p.m. and continue with worship services in each of the three languages at 11 p.m.
Just before midnight, the congregation will come together outside and ring the church bell to usher in the new year.
Congregant Harold Wall said services will be performed in separate areas by English, Samoan or Korean-speaking pastors.
The church is at 12741 Main St. in Garden Grove.
