ITT Industries Inc. of Van Nuys won a $9.6-million contract from Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts for aircraft launching, landing and ground handling equipment.

* Allied Signal Ocean Systems Inc. of Sylmar won an $8.2-million contract from the Naval Air Systems Command in Lexington Park, Md., for weapons.

* Brutoco Engineering & Construction in Fontana has been awarded a $3.1-million contract from Ventura County to replace the steel Hueneme Road bridge over Calleguas Creek with a concrete one that meets current design and seismic guidelines. The project, which is expected to take most of next year to complete, also calls for modification of the bridge approaches where Hueneme, Lewis and Potrero roads come together. The existing bridge will remain in service until the new one is completed.

* Litton Systems Inc. of Woodland Hills won a $1.8-million contract from Hill Air Force Base in Utah for communication, detection and coherent radiation equipment.

* Litton Systems Inc. of Agoura Hills won a $687,061 contract from Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts for communication, detection and coherent radiation equipment.

* Ripa Engineering Co. in Chatsworth won a $214,111 contract from Hill Air Force Base in Utah for aircraft components and accessories.

* Cascade Sprinklers in Moorpark has been awarded a contract for $36,507 from Ventura County to landscape a berm on the North El Rio Drain. The berm is at Vineyard Avenue and Simon Way in El Rio. Work is expected to continue on the project until Feb. 3.
