The city’s Recreation and Community Services Commission will meet next month to seek the public’s opinions about future park improvements and recreational activities.
Marvin DeCarlo, the commission’s director, said limited funding is available for its 1998-99 budget year, and the commission wants to be aware of the public’s needs. Improvements could include construction, acquisition, expansion or rehabilitation of a park or recreational facility.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Jan. 6 in the assembly room at the Cypress Community Center, 5700 Orange Ave. Information: (714) 229-6780.
