Man Who Fled Court Captured Near Mall

A 30-year-old man facing charges of assaulting a police officer bolted from a Pasadena courtroom Wednesday after a judge raised his bail fivefold to $100,000, but was captured later outside a mall, police said.
Christopher Moore also is charged with evading police, hit-and-run driving and being under the influence of a controlled substance, authorities said.
Moore fled on foot and was chased by the bailiff, a sheriff’s deputy and a Pasadena police officer into the Pasadena Plaza, a court clerk said.
