Residents are invited to share their ideas about the troubled district Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Compton Community College, 1111 E. Artesia Blvd. The district was taken over by the state Department of Education in 1993.
A second 2 1/2-hour meeting is scheduled Aug. 23 in the college’s student lounge.
