Catheter Maker to Sell in Japan

IRVINE — CardioVascular Dynamics Inc. said Wednesday that it has received approval to market eight new models of Lynx catheters in Japan. The company said the catheters use focus technology to treat atherosclerosis blocking blood flow within coronary arteries.
CardioVascular makes catheters and vascular access products. The stock was unchanged at $6.75 a share in trading on the Nasdaq market.
