Antelope Valley 35, Southwestern 31--Antelope Valley sophomore Lafayette Bailey rushed for a school-record 305 yards in 35 carries, leading the Marauders (2-1, 1-0) in a Foothill Conference game at Southwestern (2-1, 0-1).

Bailey scored on touchdown runs of eight, 77 and 18 yards.

“I was hungry,” said Bailey, who missed the first two games because of academic ineligibility. “It was tough to sit out when I was healthy. I knew I’d run hard, but I didn’t expect this.”
