Forum Will Focus on Brain Disorders

UC Irvine and University of Arizona doctors will present an April 8 forum examining brain disorders.

Researchers plan to discuss treatments for Alzheimer’s disease, schizophrenia and emotional and memory disorders. Information will be presented in terms for a general audience and the forum is open to the public.

Speaking are Drs. Thomas C. Cesario, dean of the UCI College of Medicine; William E. Bunney Jr., UCI chair of psychiatry; Eric Reiman, head of psychiatry at the University of Arizona; and Steven G. Potkin, director of the UCI brain imaging department.

The event begins at 2:30 p.m. in the Nelson Auditorium, which is in the College of Medicine.
