Man’s Body Found Submerged in Harbor

A submerged body was found Tuesday afternoon in Newport Harbor near Newport Boulevard and 22nd Street, police said.
The identity of the 22-year-old white male is being withheld until relatives are notified, police said.
Detectives said they observed no signs of foul play, although the circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation. The Orange County coroner will conduct an autopsy.
