* Pasadena-based Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. reported net income for the second quarter ended March 31 of $13.3 million, or 51 cents per diluted share, compared with $11.4 million, or 44 cents, a year ago.
* Closely held Greens Inc. Printers & Lithographers of Long Beach has named Janet Green chief executive.
* Global Motorsport Group Inc. of Morgan Hill said it is exploring other offers for the company after its board rejected as inadequate Golden Cycle’s bid to buy the motorcycle parts supplier for $18 a share. Global shares rose $1.25 to close at $20.38 on Nasdaq.
* Arterial Vascular Engineering Inc. of Santa Rosa, a maker of devices to treat cardiovascular disease, said it will buy World Medical Manufacturing Corp. of Sunrise, Fla., in a stock swap valued at $62 million. World Medical specializes in devices to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms.
