Public Hearing Set on Skate Park Plan

Designs for the city’s proposed skate park will the subject of a public hearing April 27, sponsored by the architectural firm hired by the city for the project.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. at the Operations Support Facility, 6427 Oak Canyon. The City Council has set aside $500,000 to build the park next to the Operations Support Facility on Oak Canyon.
“The architect will have his design team at the meeting, as well as a professional skateboarder who is on its consulting team,” said Deanna Manning, the city’s director of community services.
Manning said at least one more public meeting will be held.
