Santiago Freshman Pitches No-Hitter

Freshman Bryan Pilkington pitched a no-hitter, striking out 13 and walking none, to lead Santiago past Century, 3-0, in a consolation game in the Santa Ana Elks tournament Monday at Santa Ana Valley High.
Pilkington (2-2) lost his perfect game in the fifth inning by hitting the leadoff batter.
The only other Century runner reached base in the seventh inning when second baseman Tony Baez committed two errors on the same play.
Santiago (2-10) lost to Covina Charter Oak, 11-1, in the first round Monday.
