Man Killed on Train Tracks Is Identified

Authorities identified a 20-year-old man who was killed Thursday evening by a Metrolink train on the Santa Clarita-Antelope Valley line.
The train struck Amado Ortiz on the tracks near Astoria Street and San Fernando Road, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said Friday.
Investigators said they do not know why Ortiz did not move out of the way after the engineer repeatedly blew his horn.
