* Sim Tang-Paradis has been appointed branch manager for Santa Barbara Bank & Trust’s new Channel Islands Office in Port Hueneme. Before joining Santa Barbara Bank & Trust, Tang-Paradis served as assistant manager for Great Western Bank in Calabasas.
* Allen Grizzard-Paul has joined Trompeter Electronics to manage its quality assurance department. Previously, Grizzard-Paul worked more than 12 years at the Harris Corp. in Camarillo. He will oversee all aspects of Trompeter’s quality assurance, including design, supply sources, product manufacturing and customer satisfaction. Westlake Village-based Trompeter manufactures cable assemblies and connectors for telecommunications and aerospace markets.
* UniMed Management Co. has announced that James G. Malone joined the organization’s Buenaventura Medical Management Co. as president. Buenaventura Medical Management provides administrative support to the Ventura County-based Buenaventura Medical Group, which maintains a roster of 54 affiliated physicians.
* Channel Islands Bank has announced that Richard D. McNish tendered his resignation as chairman of the board. McNish, who expressed plans to devote more time to his family and business interests, assumed the chairmanship last year after the death of Stanley E. Cohen. McNish was a founding member of the bank when it was created in 1985. He is president of Strathmore Development Co.
McNish’s successor is Joseph L. Priske, who previously served as a director. Priske is chief executive officer of the Camarillo-based Priske-Jones Co., which specializes in real estate development.
Also, Glen C. Farr became the newest director at the bank. Farr is a founding member of the Oxnard-based Farr & Associates, which specializes in providing life insurance for funding estate taxes and business agreements.
* BioSource International announced that Anna M. Anderson, chief financial officer and executive vice president, is leaving the company for personal reasons. Larry A. May will join BioSource as chief financial officer and executive vice president on June 1.
May is currently vice president and treasurer of Amgen. Anderson will serve as a consultant to the company after her departure June 30.
Camarillo-based BioSource is a supplier of immunological test kits used in biomedical research.
