Peace Symposium to Be Held at UCI

The fifth annual In Pursuit of Peace Symposium is scheduled Wednesday at UC Irvine.
“Human Rights Have No Boundaries” will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the student center and is free to the public.
The symposium, sponsored by the Associated Students of UCI and other campus and community groups, seeks to promote global awareness and encourage humanitarian efforts.
Topics include a historical perspective on human rights in China and the healing process among survivors and observers of conflicts involving Cambodians, Kurds, Laotians and Punjabis.
