Tour Intended to Boost Volunteerism

In an effort to promote volunteerism, the city is sponsoring a tour Saturday of local volunteer sites.
The tour will include a visit with volunteers who are cleaning up Jerome Community Center, planting roses at a senior center, painting a mural at Logan Park and raising money for the Santa Ana Zoo.
The free tour, which coincides with the beginning of National Volunteer Week, will begin at 10 a.m. at Jerome Community Center, 726 S. Center St. Information: (714) 571-4251.
