Brad Mayne, general manager at the Arrowhead Pond since 1992, will be leaving to head Arenaco, a company that will operate the Reunion Arena in Dallas. Arenaco also will develop and construct a new arena for the Stars and Mavericks.
Tim Ryan, Mayne’s assistant for seven years, will replace Mayne, who was brought in as project coordinator for the Pond in 1991.
The University of Denver accepted an invitation to move up to the Division I Sun Belt Conference, effective July 1, 1999.
