Deputies are searching for gunmen who shot a motorist, caused him to crash, then killed him as he tried to run away Thursday morning.
Juan Carlos Bravo’s body was found in the rear parking lot of the Home Savings branch at Palmdale Boulevard and 20th Street East at 3:20 a.m. Thursday.
The 27-year-old Palmdale man had crashed his car into the Home Savings building and then had been shot several times, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Deputies said they had not identified a motive or suspects in the slaying.
Bravo was shot while driving his car, said Sgt. Ray Rodriguez of the Sheriff’s Homicide unit. Wounded, Bravo then crashed his car and then tried to flee on foot.
His assailants caught up with him, Rodriguez said, and gunned him down in back of the bank.
