First Financial Buys Site for Ventura Office

First Financial Federal Credit Union has purchased land in Ventura and plans to design an office building for its use on the site.
The 1-acre lot is next to the state Department of Motor Vehicles at Market and Donlon streets. Construction is expected to begin this month, with the credit union opening in the middle of next year.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
First Financial serves the California Teachers Assn.
