*** New Radicals, “Maybe You’ve Been Brainwashed Too,” MCA. Gregg Alexander, the L.A.-based Radical mastermind, has got the World Party sound down in this debut--Beatles tunefulness with a dash of Stonesy strut. Thematically, though, he’s more like Party chief Karl Wallinger’s kid brother with his thoughtfully sarcastic swipes at pop culture and mindless fashion, with plenty of depth beyond the sassy hit “You Get What You Give.”
