Storm Damage Offices Will Close Thursday

Several temporary federal offices that opened to help residents and businesses recover from storm damage will close Thursday.
The Small Business Administration opened offices in Costa Mesa, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills and Huntington Beach to help victims of the Dec. 6 storm, which caused flooding damage countywide.
Loan officers in Orange County processed at least 20 applications. Four have been approved so far for $35,000 each, said Herb Johnson, an SBA spokesman in Sacramento.
