Candidates Are Sought for Planning Commission Post

Residents interested in serving on the Lawndale Planning Commission must submit an application by Jan. 9.
A position was vacated by Gary McDonald, whose resignation became effective Thursday. The candidate appointed to the five-member board will serve as a planning commissioner until April. The City Council is scheduled to fill the volunteer position Jan. 20.
Applications are available at Lawndale City Hall, 1417 Burin Ave.
