All Deserve Health Care
I recently spent six weeks in a hospital, attended by a battery of health care specialists. Hospital costs alone came to $367,000.
Fortunately, my Medicare and supplemental insurance covered everything.
But what if I had been one of the millions of younger Americans without such coverage? I would have been destroyed. My family would have been forced into bankruptcy.
That shouldn’t be.
We Americans should have a national health care system that covers every citizen, regardless of age, sex or condition of employment.
Our neighbors to the north have one that works.
Why can’t we?
