Curfew Laws

Re the article about the curfew laws in Radom, Poland, Dec. 29:
What a paradox that this former Communist and totalitarian country is concerned about curfew laws and we are endorsing them.
I am not surprised, as I recently was in court over such an issue. When I questioned the constitutionality of curfew laws, the judge told me that they were constitutional and fined me $149. I have been surprised to find how many people support curfew laws, and how willing they are to give up their freedoms.
As Thomas Jefferson said, “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.”
