White Cap Reaches Deal to Buy Building Suppliers

COSTA MESA — White Cap Industries Inc. said Tuesday that it signed a contract to acquire Sierra Supply Inc. and JEF Supply Inc. Terms were not disclosed.
White Cap said it expects to close the acquisition of Sierra Supply in February and expects to close the acquisition of JEF Supply in January.
Sierra, based in Reno, Nev., distributes concrete accessories, construction chemicals, structural connectors, fasteners, waterproofing products and equipment used in tilt-up concrete construction. Sierra generated $11.3 million in revenue for its fiscal year ended Sept. 30.
JEF, based in Portland, Ore., supplies concrete accessories, tilt-up construction products and other specialty construction materials. JEF generated revenue of $5.1 million for its fiscal year ended Sept. 30.
White Cap, which reported sales of $86 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, retails specialty tools and materials to professional contractors in the Western U.S.
