Mystery Writer Will Give Clues to Works

Mystery writer Elizabeth George will discuss her work and read from her ninth and latest novel, “Deception on His Mind,” during an appearance at UC Irvine on Jan. 14.
“The Mystery Novel as Literature: An Evening with Elizabeth George,” will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. in Crystal Cove Auditorium in the UCI Student Center.
The presentation also will offer a question-and-answer session, an informal reception and book sales and signings.
The cost is $15; admission is free to UCI students.
George has taught many mystery writing workshops for UCI Extension, which is co-sponsoring her appearance in conjunction with the UCI Student Center.
