Cal Lutheran Set to Face Old Nemesis
The Cal Lutheran men’s basketball team, sporting a 4-6 record and struggling to find some consistency, returns to the court Saturday with a nonconference game at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
And the Kingsmen, who haven’t played since Dec. 31, are looking to end a seven-game road skid against the Toros.
The Kingsmen trail in the series against Dominguez Hills, 12-3, dating to 1975. The teams have not played since December 1989.
Junior forward Mike Dulaney leads Cal Lutheran with a 13.6-point average. The Kingsmen have two players with double-digit averages, Mike Salser at 11.8 and Cory Johnson at 10.7. Dulaney and Salser lead the team in rebounding at 6.5 and 6.4, respectively.
Players sought: Pierce College will host an alumni baseball game Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. Former players who want to participate should call (818) 719-6421.
