Let’s see now. In one article in The Times, the Craft and Folk Art Museum announces that it is closing and selling its collection--which represents virtually every ethnic group in the L.A. area--because it cannot afford its new building. Meanwhile, the Getty announces in another article that it’s looking for partnerships with local museums, particularly those that will provide outreach to the many diverse groups that reside in the L.A. area.
I know there must be some kind of possible connection here, but I can’t seem to think of what it might be. Can anyone older and wiser than I possibly think of what might be the next step?
