Rio Mesa 3, Santa Barbara 2--David Cervantes’ 18th goal off a rebound of an Ivan Medina shot lifted the Spartans (8-4-2, 1-3-2) in a Channel League game.

Santa Barbara (8-5-1, 3-2-1) led, 2-0, 10 minutes into the second half on goals by Dana Weymouth and Richie Alcaraz.

Cervantes scored in the 55th minute and Medina in the 65th to pull Rio Mesa even.
