Council Commends Police Dispatcher

Police dispatcher Beverly J. Fuller has been recognized by the City Council as an outstanding employee.

For almost 13 years, Fuller has worked for the city and since 1990 has trained others to perform dispatcher duties.

Over the years she has volunteered for special projects or assignments, including researching and compiling a comprehensive referral guide for use by police officers in the field and, most recently, helping set up the city’s computer-aided dispatch system.

Fuller has also been commended for her ability to remain calm when handling emergency calls.
