A Ventura group home has received a $35,000 grant that will help buy food for a year.
Christopher’s Place, the only group home for people living with HIV in Ventura County, was awarded the money by MAC Cosmetics’ AIDS Fund at a reception celebrating the home’s first anniversary last month.
The home is run by the Serra Project, which operates three similar facilities in the Los Angeles area.
