Retired judge and active Van Nuys businessman James DiGiuseppe was reappointed on Tuesday to the Local Agency Formation Commission by Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich.
The commission is responsible for approving city boundaries within the county and has final say over incorporations, annexations and secessions.
This will be DiGiuseppe’s second appointment as a regular member on the board, on which he has served since 1994. The board, consisting of nine regular members and six alternates, meets twice a month. Members are paid $150 for each meeting.
DiGiuseppe, a member of the San Fernando Valley Bar Assn., is chairman and president of JEC Enterprises Inc. of Van Nuys and founding director and treasurer of the Air Museum of the West.
