Former Splash, Titan Player Joins Zodiac

Ricky Rodriguez, former Cal State Fullerton and Anaheim Splash defender, signed Tuesday with the Zodiac.
Rodriguez played for the Splash of the defunct Continental Indoor Soccer League and just finished playing for the defunct Cincinnati Silverbacks of the National Professional Soccer League.
Rodriguez, 25, a graduate of Ocean View High, was a captain on Cal State Fullerton’s 1994 team that reached the NCAA quarterfinals.
He is the fifth former Titan on the team, and the third former Splash player.
The Zodiac is 11-8 and in second place in the seven-team Pacific Division of the A-League. Rodriguez will probably play Thursday at Mission Viejo High against U.S. Pro-40 Select.
