The 24th annual Seal Beach Chamber Music Festival has announced six free Wednesday concerts, to run July 1 through run Aug. 5.
* July 1: Palo Verde Trio: Peter Marsh, violin; Charles baker, cello; Alison Edwards, piano: Beethoven’s Trio No. 1; Martinu’s Five Short Pieces; Brahms Trio No 1.
* July 8: Musica Angelica: Michael Eagan, director, lute; Daniel Plaster, tenor; Inga LaRose, recorders; Mark Chatfield, baroque cello: Music by Monteverdi, Cavalli, Caccini, Cima, Galelei.
* July 15: Festival Quartet: Carolyn Osborn and Kirstin Fife, violins; Cynthia Morrow, viola; Alan Parker, cello: Quartets by Haydn and Schubert.
* July 22: Southwest Chamber Music: Stuart Horn, oboe; Agnes Gottschewski, violin; Jan Karlin, viola; Maggie Edmondson, cello: Works by Mozart, Britten, K.F. Abel and Robert Linn.
* July 29: Music Teachers Assn. of California Young Arts Guild: Winners to be announced from the association’s state convention.
* Aug. 5: Festival Quartet: Quartets by Mozart and Nielsen.
