Pacifica 6, Savanna 0--Amanda Freed pitched a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts. She tripled and drove in three runs for Pacifica (25-3), which scored four runs in the first inning. Savanna finishes 9-13.
El Modena 3, Valencia 0--Seeley Bair hit a home run in the fourth and Erin Norton pitched a one-hitter for El Modena (21-5-1). El Modena will play Brea Olinda in the second round Tuesday. Valencia finishes 16-13.
Temple City 3, Sonora 2 (8 innings)--Temple City, trailing 2-1, scored two runs on a wild pitch and a fielding error in the bottom of the eighth. Sonora finished 17-12.
In the top of the eighth, Natalie Garcia drove in a run on a fielder’s choice for a 2-1 Sonora lead.
In Division II:
Cypress 2, Whittier La Serna 0 (12)--Sarina Brito led off the 12th with a triple and Jackie Lesher and Amanda Meixel followed with RBI doubles for Cypress (15-12).
Dana Hills 12, Foothill 8--Jesse Gallup had four hits, including a three-run homer in the first, for Dana Hills (19-7).
Kennedy 3, Troy 2--Stephanie Wolter hit a one-out, bases-loaded single in the bottom of the seventh to drive in the winning run for Kennedy (19-6).
In Division IV:
Rosary 1, Rancho Alamitos 0 (19 innings)--Jaime Fruth reached third on a two-out error and scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 19th for Rosary (23-6), which broke the school record for victories in a season.
Senior Christy Ledford pitched 12 innings with nine strikeouts, and freshman Mallory Anderson (6-0) pitched seven with six strikeouts.
In Division V:
Calvary Chapel 10, Downey Calvary Chapel 0 (6, mercy)--Anna Jones had a home run, a single and a double and three RBIs to lead second-seeded Calvary Chapel (19-4). Stephanie Williams pitched a one-hitter, striking out seven.
Orange Lutheran 7, Riverside Woodcrest Christian 0--Jessica Edwards (11-5) pitched her third perfect game of the season and struck out 15.
St. Margaret’s 1, Cerritos Whitney 0--Monique Kettler drove in the run with a single in the first, scoring leadoff batter Jenny Zuidema, who reached on a bunt and then stole second and third. Amber Arnold (9-1) had 12 strikeouts in a one-hitter.
St. Margaret’s (18-1) will play Whittier Christian Tuesday.
