“We were tasting a bunch of Pinot Noirs in the Anderson Valley, working on our project there, and we came across the 1995 Littorai “Savoy Vineyard.” This one just jumped out of the glass. It’s heavier, in a Burgundian style, but not as heavy as some of those other California Pinots. It was somewhere in between, like a great vintage of Burgundy. It really gives validity to the Anderson Valley as a potentially great place to grow Pinot Noir.”
