The Recreation and Community Service Commission has extended its nomination deadline for the Volunteer Service Award to April 30. The award goes to Cypress residents who have contributed years of service to area organizations and the community. Nomination forms are available at the Recreation and Park District office, 5700 Orange Ave. Information: (714) 229-6780.
