Titan Baseball Rescheduled for Today

The Cal State Fullerton-San Diego baseball game originally scheduled for Tuesday night at Titan Field was postponed because of rain and rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. today.
The Titans, ranked seventh nationally, are 27-6, 11-1 in the Big West Conference. They play Long Beach State for the first time this season in a three-game series beginning Friday night at Blair Field in Long Beach.

Prentice Perkins, UC Irvine assistant women’s volleyball coach, has been hired as an assistant at Oregon, Anteater Coach Merja Connolly said.
Perkins, a graduate of Corona del Mar High School, was an Anteater assistant the past three seasons. She was a setter at Long Beach State and was a member of the 49ers’ 1993 national championship team.
Doug Tuttle, a part-time assistant the last two years, will assume Perkins’ full-time position. Travis Turner, a part-time assistant with the men’s team, was hired to fill Tuttle’s spot.
