Laura’s House founder Sandy Condello will receive the Lee Steelman Community Service Award at the seventh annual Family Violence Prevention Committee Luncheon on April 16. Laura’s House is a shelter for battered women and their children that opened in 1993. Reservations for the event, to be held at the Pacific Golf Club, are $25 if made by Friday, $30 at the door.
