Residents can get ready for Earth Day by helping to clean up the beach from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Volunteers should show up early to sign in and pick up trash bags at the pier. The event is sponsored by the city and the Simple Green EGBAR Foundation. Information: (714) 840-1319.
