The city is accepting applications for the 1999-2000 Youth Commission. The group works with outside agencies for the benefit of the community and its youth. Applicants must be a Cypress resident and high school student no older than 18. The commission meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Applications are available at the Personnel Department in the Civic Center, 5275 Orange Ave. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Friday. Information: (714) 229-6780.
