* Venezuelan oil workers accepted a pay raise from the government and called off a nationwide strike planned for today that threatened to disrupt exports from the world’s third-largest oil producer. Energy and Mines Minister Ali Rodriguez offered 33,000 workers from state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela an increase of 3% to 6% to avert the strike.
