Joens, a guard, is a big-game player as she proved last week in playoff action, leading the Eagles to the Southern Section Division IV-A final. She had her first triple-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 12 steals in a victory over Ventura St. Bonaventure, then scored 36 points and had 10 rebounds to beat Playa Del Rey St. Bernard.

Three goals in quarterfinal victory over Sunny Hills gave her a school season record of 19.
Erin Lezak/Water Polo; Irvine/Senior
She has 15 playoff goals, including one in overtime that beat Long Beach Wilson.
Lindsay Pavlik/Basketball; Mater Dei/Junior
Had 32 points, 22 rebounds in two playoff victories. Made basket to beat Edison in quarterfinal.
