Even in business-as-usual mode, Orange County’s Chris Gaffney & the Cold Hard Facts put on delightfully freewheeling performances. This weekend, the roots-rock and country outfit sets up at the Swallow’s Inn for recording sessions aimed to produce a live album capturing the band’s wide ranging excursions from stone country to soulful R&B; to roaring rock.
