Ticketmaster Appoints a New CFO

Ticketmaster, a Los Angeles-based unit of USA Networks Inc., has appointed Edward Millman as chief financial officer. He previously worked in several senior financial posts at Advanta Corp.
* Three executives from Southern California companies have been named to the board of the National Assn. of Manufacturers. They are Larry D. Brady, president and chief operating officer of Woodland Hills-based Unova Inc.; William Dahlman, president and chief executive of Employers Group, Los Angeles; and Margaret Dano, vice president of supply chain-office products worldwide for Avery Dennison of Pasadena.
* National tax accounting firm Ernst & Young has admitted Lance B. Gordon and Alan B. Phillips to the firm’s partnership. They will be based in Los Angeles.
* Matthew Spence was named senior account executive at Los Angeles-based Envision. He most recently was director of corporate development for the Los Angeles Clippers. Envision, which specializes in venue-naming rights, is a partner with Anschutz Corp.
