Holiday Closings

Thursday was Thanksgiving. Here is a list of closings today:

* Mail: Post offices are open.

* Banks: Many banks and savings and loan institutions will be open.

* Courts: All courts are closed.

* Schools: Public schools are closed.

* Government: City government offices are closed with the exception of Ventura City Hall. Some county offices are closed today; call ahead to check. All state offices are closed.

* Transportation: Vista and SCAT buses will continue normal routes.

* Trash: Those who normally set out their trash on Thursdays should do so today. Those whose trash is normally picked up on Fridays should set it out Saturday.
